Recipient of the prestigious Wine Spectator Award, Acqua’s extensive wine list boasts more than 3,000 bottles from world class wine makers of the old world and the new world. Executive Chef Schafer
Chef Schäfer began his formal culinary training in his hometown of Vienna, Austria, serving a three year apprenticeship at the Grand Hotel Sauerhof in Baden, one of Austria’s finest five-star luxury hotels.
He now leads a team of seasoned culinary professionals at the Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa as Executive Chef, preparing an innovative fusion of New American cuisine.
