Explore the wonders of marine life at SeaWorld® San Diego just minutes from the resort.

As a preferred hotel partner of SeaWorld® San Diego, Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa is happy to offer a complimentary shuttle to and from SeaWorld® for resort guests. Historic Old Town San Diego

Balboa Park

Distance from resort: 8 miles - 15 minute drive

Don’t miss out on visiting Balboa Park- the nation's largest urban cultural park. Home to 15 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, beautiful gardens and the San Diego Zoo, the Park has an ever-changing calendar of museum exhibitions, plays, musicals, concerts and classes.


The best way to start your adventure in Balboa Park is with a stop at the Balboa Park Visitors Center. Located across from The Prado Restaurant in the House of Hospitality, the Visitors Center has the most current and comprehensive information about the Park’s activities and attractions. Open from 9:30am-4:30pm daily, the Visitors Center offers brochures, maps, audio tours, free guided tours of the Park, transportation information, dining advice and more.

The Gaslamp Quarter

The Gaslamp Quarter offers more than 200 restaurants, nightclubs and music venues in addition to various popular shops and local boutiques. Located in the historic heart of downtown San Diego, there is something for everyone to enjoy at any time of day in the Gaslamp Quarter. Birch Aquarium

Distance from resort: 7 miles - 13 minute drive

Explore where the wonders of the ocean come alive. Smaller and more intimate than some of its larger and better known cousins, the Birch Aquarium allows guests to get close to the animals and take time to enjoy them. Watch the creatures being fed, feel around in the outdoor tide pool and check out the mesmerizing 70,000-gallon kelp forest.
